Sipping Coffee by the Window

9 May

Another day had passed,
Another die would be cast,
Another journey to start,
Another hurdles to surpass,
Another set of friends to meet,
Another lesson that I need to greet,
Another trial I need to beat
And another memories that are worth to keep.
Another challenges up ahead,
Another pathway to take a lead,
Another steps that I need to make,
Another poem I must create.
At the end of the day
Everything else will be lay
And you’ll reap what you sow.
And what’s the good thing to do?
Smile, while sipping coffee by the window

TODAY

9 May

Today is going to be different.
Today I am going to surpass my old self.
Today I got up off the bed earlier than yesterday.
Today I prepared myself faster but neater.
Today is going to be different.
Today I will be more confident than yesterday.
More humble and down to earth.
Today I will give a smile to everybody.
Today is going to be different.
I will be stronger than yesterday.
Today I am closer to God
And embrace Him wholeheartedly.
Today is going to be different,
Cause today is another opportunity for me.
Another day to live life to the fullest.
Another memories to create.
Today is going to be different

Day (442) – The Loser Wins

Day (442) – The Loser Wins.

Wonderful. and very encouraging

Roll the dice. Go ahead, roll them. The question really is though…”How many times have you actually put everything on the line?” Of course not your life…but your career…your lifestyle…your $…your time? Are you going to play it safe? Or set sail? All  I know is that when you actually go for it…the feeling is exhilarating…and at the same time a bit nerve-wracking. But you have to go for it. Because if you never try, you never know. You never will see your potential. That’s why I keep going back to my definition of hell: meeting the person you could have become in your last moment.

I have a lot to write about today, but that is going to come at a later time. I need some time to get straight what I want to say. But here’s the main point. Whatever you think you are, you will become. And you…

The Better Man Project ™

I wrote this piece last night, and wanted to write today about the after effects of it. I posted the writing below.

I Accept

I accept your challenge…the one you put in front of me,

You know exactly who I can and cannot be,

You have taken away the noise and left me in silence,

Causing my inner voice to storm with violence,

But you know that this is the test before the storm,

To get me ready to ultimately perform,

In front of the crowd who needs a voice,

Because that voice, was lost in the noise.

You have stripped away the people who were once near,

To make me listen to my heart with both ears,

You have allowed me to doubt the path and its result,

Causing a little bit of personal tumult.

But you know better than all,

That this is just part of the internal…

“The Future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”. Dream and make that dream into REALITY…

I talk a lot about accountability and the difference that it makes in your life when you actually take it seriously. Accountability and integrity are like a tandem bike for me. Both of them have to be working at the exact same time for the bike to move. If not, it’s like one person is stepping on the breaks and one person is trying to pedal as hard as they can. Maybe a little bit of progress will be made…but good lord is it going to be hard to ride.

So I am posting the picture above as my personal way of not only being accountable for my dreams, but also as a way of being accountable to everyone here. I talk about the gym, the mentality it takes to push yourself, and the effects of getting in there every single day no matter how you are feeling…

Hardwork

25 Sep

Hardwork really does pay you off at the end of the day..

The Better Man Project ™

Dear Hard Work,
I used to hate you,
When you called my name,
I heard it but ran away from you,
When I knew you were coming,
I used to hide from you,
When you influenced others to talk to me,
I quickly made excuses to get away from you.

Afraid of the pain because I didn’t want to get hurt

Afraid to fail, so I didn’t even try
Afraid of the shame that you might put me through and
Afraid of your name because of what you have done to othersWho do you think you are?
Making me so afraid of who you are?

Reflection in the mirror,
Shadow behind me,
I take one step and still,
Your ahead of me,

Sweat on my face, tears in my eyes,
I keep on going,
I heard you tell no lies,

You turn the poor to rich,
F to A’s

Is…
